Why People Shut Down Other People

People who are not depressed are happy just to be thankful and live on one more day. They seem to be able to deal with life in a way that allows them to be happy most days.

We as lonely people who are depressed and suffer mental or physical problems must live a second, or a minute, or an hour or a day at a time just trying to make it through each day. We allow people, places and things to affect us which we have no control over. Just praying about it does not work.

We need instruction and guidance and that will give us hope. The word of God say’s hope deferred makes the heart sick. But when the desire comes it becomes a tree of life. When we let our heart get sick it brings about false pride when we defer hope and other feelings and emotions that are not healthy to our recovery and life with the Creator.

We have no control over people, places, or things and should realize they separate us from the Creators’ will in our life. The Creator wants us to feel joy unspeakable full or glory and learn to love ourselves first so he can heal us. Then we move onto helping our brothers and sisters in Christ. We then will be able to use our hope, strength, and experience to help those hurting.

People will act like they care and really don’t. We then spend time trying to explain why we believe what we believe. If people don’t agree they tune us out. People don’t really care so they are looking around and we are still trying to prove our point and we have lost them. This makes us angry and hurt so we say things we don’t mean.

We then feel hurt and find the need to repent and fix it. Just leave it alone and realize people want to talk about themselves. It is better to listen and not judge if you disagree with them. Who cares, are they really that important that we must put ourselves through the situation and have a resentment and give them power over our flesh and spiritual mind.

We will forget about it if we trust God and surrender and then we can forget about it and not give that person the power to steel our joy or take our crown of righteousness away. Give it to the Creator and keep moving forward one step at a time. If we take one step, he will take two and we will move forward with the power of the Holy Ghost.

We are just pilgrims and strangers here on earth. This is not our forever home. We learn to trust God and those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they will mount up with eagle’s wings. They will run and not be weary and they will walk and not faint.

Sometimes we must listen and chew what it is that was said. Then we ask ourselves why this is affecting us in the first place. Then we will understand why and deal with it. We can confront that person meekly or in the spirit of meekness to keep from them having a resentment against us.

We need to confront some situations to get clarity of why it all caused division or seperation. We need to examine the source and their motive and ask them why they did what they did or said. Hopefully it helps us to own what is ours to own, or put it on the shelf for another day. If we forget about it does not matter anyway. Remember the ones closest to us are the ones that hurt the most.

If we cannot do something for people without a motive and unconditionally then don’t do it. If people don’t ask for advice, then don’t give it. Don’t give people or suggest things they might do unless they ask. The main reason we try, and help is we do it to be loved and accepted. They want to do things the way they choose them.

They are often offended and even if you explain why, you are sharing what you are they get defensive and in turn offend you. Because they think they have it down and we make them feel like we think they are not capable of doing things the right way. Just let people be and keep your suggestions to yourself. Learn to be true to yourself.

Don’t let your feelings and emotions and past history trigger a negative reaction. The bible says give no thought for yesterday because it is gone forever. Give no thought for tomorrow, because it is not here yet.

The bible says let us rejoice and be exceeding glad for today is the day of our salvation. We are to rejoice in all of the day’s happenings where good or evil. It all works together for good. It is either good or good for you. We have no control of the outcome until it happens and even then, we probably won’t have control of it.

People really don’t want to hear about people they do not know. Or stories about the past or even the present unless they are in the story. The bible says for us to work out our own salvation with fear of missing the Creator’s perfect will in our life. I hope this post helps in some way.
